Hey guys,
Hoping to get a little assistance and guidance from the community if you will indulge me. I have ready through the FAQ and discussion boards here but would like a little more clarification.
Computer build and set up:
I have two separate computers, one of them is pretty heavily spec'd out for gaming, vr and media centre. The other one not so much. The second one is good enough to play most games on medium quality in terms of CPU, graphics card & RAM. Is it possible and advisable to create the plots on the spec'd PC, transfer to a bank of external USB 3 HDDs and then connect external HDDs to less spec'd PC to farm? The preference is to have the second PC doing the farming.
I guess what I am trying to get at here is how important are the PC specs in terms of creating plots. What is the importance of the hardware in terms of CPU, graphics card and RAM or is the SSD more important? Will it just take longer to create plots but once created in won't matter?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
