Description

What is the research about?

Monitoring online media for flood information, showing what people are saying about floods in the media. This enables online monitoring new developments related to floods.

What problem is hindering the research?

Flat was used as an existing solution, only minor fixes and limited support were needed.

What is needed to do the research?

Tools

An annotation environment was needed to tag flood-related entities for training data. FLAT was used here.
