It appears that if the help menu is opened and then closed in srtn, the program's exit button does not exit the program and the only way I have found to close the program is via the terminal in this case.

is this still the case in the working version on centos?

the UI does still seem flaky as all get out; that said, there might be extenuating circumstances that contributed to this on the previous build

I haven't tested it extensively enough on CentOS with the rotator problem fixed. I'll spend some time this weekend seeing if I can replicate the bug.

feel free to load balance this to anybody else - this is something that
anybody who can start srtn can test...

good point!

before, the two times I was able to have exit fail was after playing around with the other menu buttons (specifically, the help button but I pressed other buttons before that too) and when the program was inactive for a bit - this second case may have been tied with the weird rotator problem though.

that's somewhere to start looking to try and reproduce the bug

This is still an issue, at least on Intel Ubuntu, I ran srtn and after setting the az el in program, I tried exiting via the exit button, which was unresponsive

File this under "The software really shouldn't do this" but also "later... just... later"
