Improve name selection in preferences

When you click on the section to pick your character name, I'd like it if it popped up with a modal window inside the preferences tab that showed something like this (obviously configurable per-species).

Format could be like this, showing multiple different branches to follow or could be like humans where it "human name as shown on birth records" and the avoid section has stuff like "references, joke names, nicknames"

Maybe if you haven't typed in a name, it will scroll through a list of example names in the text bar until you type to give some ideas as to how the formatting should be.
