If a user is already signed in the MsalAuthenticationTemplate does attempt a silent token acquisition first before falling back to the interaction type specified. Reference. If you're seeing a redirect that can be due to either 1. A user account does not already exist in browser storage or 2. The silent token acquisition failed for some reason If your scenario falls into bucket 1 this is expected, otherwise if it falls into bucket 2 I'd suggest turning on logging to get a better idea of what's happening. If you need assistance I'd recommend opening a support ticket and if you determine there's a bug in the library open a bug report |

Might be a simple question, but I would think this would be a common requirement.
If there is already a session in storage, I want to silently sign in, otherwise I want to redirect.
With the
MsalAuthenticationTemplate
I have to pick between the two.Lets give a scenario, a use recently signed in and click the reload button on the browser, React app is reloaded and now needs to go through the full sign in loop again.
Is there a reason this is not default behaviour or something?
One solution is for the ErrorComponent on the Template to do a redirect login, but that would cause an endless loop if that fails right?
