Ionic Capacitor and MSAL

Is there a recommended way to integrate MSAL with a hybrid framework such as Capacitor?

We have a working MSAL-react web application using B2C identities.

Using Capacitor to deploy a native app on IOS/Android devices, the app will launch an external browser to complete the authentication process when calling something like IPublicClientApplication.loginRedirect. This doesn't allow the native app to process the response to acquire any tokens.

What I am looking for is a way to keep the interactions for MSAL inside the app so that it can acquire tokens on successful authentication. Is this possible?
