@aramase I've done some investigation here and the main refactor around the following:

Remove kubeconfig arg from the current plugins and use handler.kubeconfig, which we already did.
Organize the plugins' structure, which will not affect us as we are not using the same framework anyway.

We should be good to close this issue.
