Hi, any ideas about my new problems on ubuntu mate 24.04. See also my bug reports: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mate/+bug/2068863 https://askubuntu.com/questions/1516160/onboard-keyboard-crashing-on-kubuntu-24-04/1517110#1517110 https://bugs.launchpad.net/onboard/+bug/2068851
The origin project seems to be dead - isn't it?
I have rebuild the origin and your version:
sudo apt install build-essential sudo apt install devscripts bzr sudo apt purge onboard onboard-common bzr branch lp:onboard cd onboard fakeroot debian/rules clean fakeroot debian/rules build export DEB_HOST_ARCH=amd64; fakeroot debian/rules binary cd .. sudo dpkg -i onboard_1.4.1+rev-0local0_amd64.deb sudo dpkg -i onboard-common_1.4.1+rev-0local0_all.deb sudo dpkg -i onboard-data_1.4.1+rev-0local0_all.deb
but always
onboard -d warning (onboard:3071): Gdk-CRITICAL **: 22:29:31.659: gdk_window_thaw_toplevel_updates: assertion 'window->update_and_descendants_freeze_count > 0' failed Segmentation fault (core dumped)
after the first click
I think the origin onboard project should be cleaned up and simplified for an ongoing usable project fork. I could contribute to keep it alive...
