How do i increase the max number iterations?

I tried to increase the max number of iterations but still got stuck at 100.
Tried to lower it to 5 to see if this has any effect, but I can just keep going beyond 5.
Why does GLOBAL_MAX_ITERATIONS get ignored?

Changed

    -e GLOBAL_MAX_ITERATIONS=5 \

to

    -e MAX_ITERATIONS=5 \

and it now the limit changed
