Project Update April, 6th 2020

The Real Account search page is the landing page for Darkhorse. You can search for accounts by either Account Number or Process # where the process number is the 7-digit account number or RP_ACCT_ID. You can search for partial Account Numbers, to see all the accounts in a plat for example. But only complete RP_ACCT_IDs will be accepted. Internally Darkhorse works in the same way as LIS where most of the pages and functions use the RP_ACCT_ID as the primary key.

My favorite plat is 5432. Try typing that in and hitting the enter key. You should now see a long list of real accounts that start with the 5432 prefix. You can select one of these accounts by clicking on it. This will take you to the Real Property Account page for that specific account. The layouts of both pages are intended to be identical to LIS desktop application. You can click through each of the tabs to see information related to this account. Tap the ATS Change History button to review information migrated from the legacy ATS system.

If you tap on the Details menu, you’ll reach an area where we are still building out the feature set of Darkhorse. Right now, we have only partially completed the Tax Year page. You can click on it to see the current state. We have yet to complete the development of the other pages in the real account Details menu.

Currently Darkhorse purposely lacks the ability to update or modify any of the information in the database. Until we have validated the function of this application it will remain in a read-only mode so as not to cause any problems for the County’s existing infrastructure.
