Collective notes for courses I have taken

Specifically, this repository contains (or refers to) notes of the following courses:

University of Michigan

  • MATH 593, Algebra I (2023 Fall), taught by Prof. Mircea Mustaţă. This course covers basic ring and module theory, with a little introduction to category theory and homological algebra. Notes for individual chapters can be found here.

  • MATH 636, Outer Automorphism Groups of Free Groups (2023 Fall), taught by Prof. Alex Wright. In class we collective constructed the course notes, so I do not bother to make my own.

  • MATH 594, Algebra II (2024 Winter), taught by Prof. Mircea Mustaţă. This course covers basic group theory, its application in representation theory, and field extensiosn with Galois theory. Notes for individual chapters can be found here.

Acknowledgements

I wrote the notes in a rush, resulting a lot of typos/mistakes in the book keeping. I here thank sincerely @KumoDynamics for revising and proofreading my notes.
