I roughly read the requirements for contributing to Google Fonts. Since camelCase is not allowed for font name requirements, the name 0xProto may not be approved 🤔
In the past, I considered renaming 0xProto due to a different issue with Google Fonts, but I ultimately decided not to change the name in favor of maintaining the identity.
I think there are good things about being listed on Google Fonts, but I don't plan to add any necessary glyphs or change any names for that reason. On the other hand, if 0xProto does not need to be modified to suit a particular font delivery platform, I would be happy for it to be hosted anywhere, as it is now available for download from Nerd Fonts.
I've not done much research about alternative font hosting that at least potentially integrates well with web publishing tools, but today found fontsource, which looks good and reasonable at first glance.
Do you have interest in submitting this to Google Fonts?
It would make it easier to use with some documentation systems (e.g. mkdocs-material), and I'm sure many other websites.
